Amazon Fire TV Retail Experience

Art Direction / Branding

My Role

I built out and integrated Amazon Fire TV’s brand and content across animated, print, and 3D assets. I sketched out dimensional scenes, designed storyboards, strategically chose video content, and collaborated with a team of creatives to deliver a set of assets to Amazon to display in retail stores, like BestBuy, across North America.

Background

Retail stores are struggling to keep up with online platforms. So I collaborated with Amazon to create a new series of marketing materials to excite customers in stores to explore and engage with Amazon Fire TV products. The solution was to take a step back from the neon, flamboyant signage and create a moment of calm in a sea of overwhelming color. I used tangible textures, elegant sound design, and dynamic animations to design a welcoming 3D environment to provide a friendly message to customers rather than a loud one.
